How it began
...
Hans Wälischmiller established the company
with his wife Marianne in 1945 at Meersburg. The business more
and more concentrated on the development and manufacture of clinical
and dental equipment as well as rationalization and automatization
technology for various branches of production.
In 1954
Hans Wälischmiller GmbH
started to focus on nuclear
medicine and nuclear technology,
particularly on special designs
and new designs in the field
of remote control machines,
robot systems, irradiation
facilities and radiation protection
installations. This could
be realized due to the company's
experience and versatility
not only in the field of fine
apparatus construction, but
equally in the department
of heavy steel construction.
....and
what became of it
1965 the company moved its
headquarters to Markdorf.
In 1991 the department of
nuclear medicine was moved
to Dresden.
WÄLISCHMILLER has got
itself a reputation for quality
with regard to development,
production and system integration
of remote control equipment,
robot systems, irradiation
facilities and radiation protection
equipment in the field of
nuclear medicine and nuclear
technology.
The long planned "Big Hall" with an
impressive 15 m height was put to successful use in 1998 on the
premises at Markdorf. Power Manipulators with extremely long telescopic
arms can now be tested in fully deployed condition.
