The A1000 - The Power Manipulator with a sense of touch

The A1000 is a modular power manipulator system, designed for use in areas unfit for human presence.

All movements are electrically driven and can be remotely controlled. Ranges of movement are optimized in order to reach any point inside the cell. Particular flexibility is attained by unlimited telescope rotations, unimpeded by cables or wiring.

Due to the synoptic arrangement of the operating elements on the control console, in form of a manipulator, intuitive operation is possible. Speeds and forces of movements can be continuously adjusted.

Dimensions and capacity of the power manipulatorcan be adapted to various applications. If required, an extension of the system by additional components, for instance an auxiliary crane or TELBOT, is possible.
